Porcupine Mountains Music Festival

Last year's festival was a rousing success and included the living Peace sign formed by over 100 festival goers, a fun kids tent with a kids performance on Sunday, plus sunshine, friends, fun, and lots of great music! Plans are underway for the Third Annual Porcupine Mountains Music Festival! Acts will include Daisy May and Seth Bernard, Steppin' In it, Hamell on Trial, Tangled Roots, Charlie Parr, Drew Nelson, Buster's Dream, Rory Miller Band, plus many more! The festival will also feature some musical workshops, including flute playing as part of the activities at the nearby Folk School.

The third annual Porcupine Mountains Music Festival will take place August 24 (Friday), 25 (Saturday), and 26 (Sunday) at the Ski Hill and Chalet Area in Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park, Ontonagon County located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The festival will feature folk, blues, bluegrass and contemporary music from top-class nationally touring artists as well as up and coming Michigan artists. 1250 people per day will get to hear the over 30 artists who will appear on our outdoor stages.

You can find more information on the upcoming music festival at porkiesfestival.org.
